Hello! My name is Micki, my pronouns are she/her. I have worn many hats in my 43 years on earth, including: nanny, barista, birth & postpartum doula. I am constantly seeking ways to learn and grow both as a midwife and human. I have an AS in Science, BA in Sociology and recently a BSM in Midwifery.

I am a NARM Certified Professional Midwife and Licensed Direct Entry Midwife here on the Oregon Coast. I did my 2 year apprenticeship with Fig Midwifery based out of Salem, OR. I moved to Seaside shortly after graduation. I quickly realized that we are in great need here on the coast for all avenues of medical care but, especially more options for birthing families. I am grateful to have the opportunity to open the door of homebirth for the low risk clients in our community.

I fell in love with midwifery care after being a doula for 8 years and spending time with midwives in my former community in Texas. I had several friends that utilized midwives. It was so inspiring that I decided to become one. After spending two years with my preceptors, it solidified what I already knew, midwives rock. I am honored to be part of the midwifery community here in Oregon.

I have been married to my high school sweetheart, Gavin, for 21 years. After a decade of struggling with infertility and 4 miscarriages I decided to channel that grief into loving on other families as they walk through pregnancy, birth and postpartum. Gavin and I have also focused on our hobbies. Gavin dabbles in photography and I’m learning to play the cello. We love going on adventures with our corgi, Theo.
