I am unable to prescribe medications. You will need to continue care with your PCP, Behavioral Health Provider, OB or CNM to get prescription medications.

I expect that you will be involved in your care and take an active role in asking questions, researching topics and showing up to scheduled appointments, as well as respecting my boundaries around communication. I have my phone on at all times to be available for births so it is crucial that non-emergent questions be kept to business hours.
If I need to change your appointment due to attending a birth I will give you as much notice as possible.
-
I do have a couple of non-negotiables: initial labs, 20w anatomy scan, some type of glucose monitoring. While I want to be respectful of your choices, I also have to consider my exposure risk and health. If you do not feel inclined to do these test I can recommend other midwives.
